detroit's all star point guard Billups summed it up best when he said in an ajc article, "Every year, there's always going to be some people who don't make it that are very deserving. I think a guy like Joe Johnson, he's an all-star," Billups told reporters in Detroit Thursday night. "I think he's one of the best guards in the conference, and he didn't get in. But I think he's an all-star. "
joe made a late push for the all star reserve in the eastern conference as the hawks finished january with their first winning month under coash woodson (in three years) with an 8-7 record.
marvin williams did not make the 2nd year squat for the rookie challenge neither. the hawks are 17-27 overall and that's probably why.
